MLK Day 2022: Keynote and Community Dialogue on ZOOM

6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Event Details

This year's keynote features Rev. Dr. Mayowa Lisa Reynolds, minister, activist, educator, and counselor. As we reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we focus on his words: "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

After Dr. Reynolds' speech concludes, join us for a community dialogue in small Zoom breakout rooms, as we ponder her words and how we might take action in our local communities.

Sponsored by The Multicultural Multiracial Committee of Farmington and Farmington Hills and the Friends of the Library.

This program will be on Zoom; registration required for the Zoom meeting link and password which will be emailed to registrants the morning of the event (Monday, 1/17/22). Registration closes at 5:00 p.m.
