Join us for the eighth presentation of our Healthy Living Series, a collaboration between the Farmington Community Library and Beaumont Health!

Sepsis is the third leading cause of death in the United States, yet 42% of Americans have not heard of it. Sepsis affects people of all ages and globally is the leading cause of death in children. This presentation will address what sepsis is, the signs and symptoms of sepsis, and how to prevent it. The presentation speaker is Aimee Chernawski (BScN, RN), Nursing Professional Development Generalist and Sepsis Coordinator at Beaumont Farmington Hills. Her nursing career has involved working in Pediatrics, Critical Care, and Infectious Disease.

This event can be enjoyed either in Conference Room A at FCL Farmington Hills OR virtually via Teams! For those who choose to attend in person, please register.
