Listening Session - Friends

It is our great pleasure to announce that Riti Grover, the Director of Farmington Community Library will be holding a series of electronic listening sessions via Zoom. We invite all Farmington and Farmington Hills community members to participate in these sessions. 

The purpose of these listening sessions is to serve as a problem-solving platform and to enhance relations between FCL and the community it serves. This is an opportunity to take FCL to the next level as a leader in library services.  

Registration is required to join the listening sessions. You may submit questions or concerns at the time of registration. 

Director Grover will try her best to address all submitted questions and concerns during the ninety-minute listening session. Each attendee will receive three minutes maximum to speak. We ask you to offer possible solutions when discussing your concerns. Please remain respectful and refrain from naming people when discussing the issue at hand. 

All registrants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a gift card. An email with the session link will be sent prior to the event. Thank you for sharing your ideas, suggestions, and hopes for the future of the Farmington Community Library! We look forward to incorporating your input.

Breakup the boredom and join us every other Tuesday night for our trivia challenge. There will be two rounds of 20 questions. Round one is general trivia. Round two is themed. Each week's winner have the chance to be featured on our Facebook page and Instagram.

And don't worry, you don't have to leave your place or change out of your pajamas, Trivia Nights take place online using Zoom videoconferencing and the game is played using Kahoot! Families can register and play as a team or each person can go it alone. Its up to you!

Please include your email address when registering so we can send you the Zoom invitation. The Library will email invitations to those who register at least 30 min. before the start time.

Join your fellow book lovers for a monthly discussion of new and classic books. The book is readily available on our Hoopla digital platform, as an e-book and as an e-audiobook.
